Iranian documentary ‘A 157’ has been scheduled to go on screen at the 16th edition of Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) in Bangladesh.
Directed by Behrouz Nouranipour, the documentary is to represent Iran at the Dhaka film event.
It has so far won awards from different international film festivals including Liberary International Film Festival in India, Special Jury Award at Iran’s Cinéma Véritére, and International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film in Germany.
‘A 157’ narrates the story of horrors of war and terrorism in Syria, with a focus on three pregnant girls recounting their stories of war and violence in a land where people have no more dreams.
Established in 1992, Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) is a biennial film festival held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The 16th edition of the Dhaka International Film Festival will be held on 12-20 January, 2018.
